Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University - [BNMU] is a public university in Madhepura, Bihar. It was established in 1992. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a lot of fields, with a number of specializations.
Course Curriculum Overview
Out batch found the course curriculum easily understandable and competitive at the same time. It is spread over 4 years of graduation. The curriculum required us to be as good in practicals as we would be in theory. Semester-end exams were held two times in a year.
Placement Experience
We were trained really well in the theoretical knowledge and the aspects of working in industry. One drawback was that the college didn't have a placement cell. So we didn't get placed right through our campus. Yet, we got good pays.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I wouldn't say that the fees was affordable to everyone. But it was around what every other college was asking. The total fees of my 4-year Bachelor's degree was around ?3.60 lacs. The fees included tuition fees, application fees, library fees, etc.
Campus Life
There are certain student clubs/societies, which are voluntary. They weren't compulsory, we could join if we wanted. Extracurricular activities were enjoyed, and we used to play games outside on the football field, volleyball court, etc.
Admission
The admission procedure is quite simple. I had been preparing for JEE Mains entrance exam since my 11th standard. Its score is checked for admission eligibility. I passed it, then registered online. The rest of the process went smoothly.
Faculty
I personally feel that the faculty members always tried their best to make us properly understand the concepts. They were adequately qualified to teach our particular course. They would always motivate us to do better.
