Course Curriculum Overview

The course is up to date and in accordance with the latest trends enabling us to learn the basics of the vegetation and leading us to the more typical concepts. We are taught about the climatic and geographical impacts on fruits, their nutritional value, improved techniques in horticulture as well as organic plantation too.

Placement Experience

4.5

As far as placements are concerned, I have observed some of the renowned FMCG companies like Tops, Safal, Rajdhani, etc. coming. Also some of the students were also placed by research based companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty affordable given the decent placement cell working hard to get the students placed. The cost of MSc is 1.5 lacs which is quite nominal when compared with many private institutions with not so great placement record.

Campus Life

We have research club, NSS society but only a handful of students enroll themselves in societies or clubs as I have seen students spending more times in either lurking around the campus or in the library reading books or in the labs that have top class equipment for the experiments.

Admission

I live in Haryana and it is the only University in the state to provide MSc in Horticulture. Also, while I was in graduation, I had heard so many good things about the University so I had to see it for myself. Coming to the admission, it was pretty simple process and the website was updated with the announcement of the application form availability. The University conducts written examination in offline mode which on clearing, I went for the further documentation process.

Faculty

5

We are being taught by some of the best faculty members who the aces in their field of specializations. Even the faculty taking our guest lectures are so through with the subjects that they excites the scientists in us. All of them are so supportive and easy to approach too.
