The good old days

The course is divided across 2 years and 4 semesters equally. The syllabus focuses on both academic and practical learning. We have vivas, internals, and at the end of the course, we have our end term examination. Other than that the college focused on extracurricular activities as well.

There is a separate placement cell in the university which offers opportunities to students in educational and research institutes, human service industry etc. The college helps in building and promoting students career by providing a decent placement.

Extracurricular activities allow us to perform outside of our academic area and build new connections. It helps us to get a better understanding of our skills and abilities and foster creative thinking. The college organises many events for the same.

The fees for the MEd course in total is ?76000, which is feasible for the middle-class families. The college provides with many opportunities in terms of placement. The university is unique of its kind and is promoting excellence in education.

TENTU has good infrastructure. Our library is filled with books, journals, encyclopaedia, periodicals. We play sports (indoor and outdoor), we have a multipurpose lab where many activities are carried on. The gender ratio here is about 70:30 boys and girls.

To get admitted in MEd program you need to have passed your bachelor? degree in the field of Education through a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate score in theory and practical exam separately. There to selection procedure is based on the entrance exam scores.

Teachers and professors at TNTEU are all highly qualified. They are all open-minded though they come from different backgrounds. I feel like I can ask anything without any feeling of judgement. They motivate us to push out limits and do the best of our abilities.
