Course Curriculum Overview
The course was two years long where we were taught 4 to 5 subjects per semester. The curriculum required a lot of research work as well as hard work but it was stressfree. Internal and external work conducted at the end of each semester. We were given a lot of project works to present in the classroom which helped us along the course.
Placement Experience
Different schools and universities came to interview like Amity, the maharaja University, Manipal, government schools. The selection was on the basis of merit and academic performances. The teacher used to recommend these firms for the students, 80% of the students used to get placed from the college with an average package of Rs.8 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since this was a government college the fees was very low and feasible. For the first year it was around Rs.3500 including the security deposit and all the expenses. The fees could be submitted in the form of demand draft, card payments but no cash was accepted.
Campus Life
The college was old but it was beautifully constructed with all the facilities sponsored by the government itself. The big playground and spacious multipurpose hall were well maintained and the students used to gather there to host their clubs like the beach clubs, art clubs, dance clubs, music clubs, theatre clubs. The labs were well maintained and were fully equipped. There were more girls in the campus and the boys and all came from different backgrounds. The environment was very friendly and it was a ragging free campus.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of bachelor marks where I got 90% from the same college and applied to the college through their official website where the application form was available. Yeah admission process was very easy and I cleared the interview round along with English proficiency test and got enrolled for the MA in history.
Faculty
The faculty of the college were very supportive and always helpful. My main history teacher was the guide to me and she supported me all along the curriculum. They all were PhD holders in different fields and had Noble knowledge.
