The course curriculum is really not like B.tech. It is really tough and needs in-depth analysis of the concepts. It was quite hard to cope with the syllabus, but gradually I picked it up. The course consists of so many practical labs along with theory subjects.There will be a one year project submission which had to be submitted as thesis for evaluation to complete your M.Tech.

The placement opportunities for students studying here are lots. There is almost 100% complete placement records. They also allow students to do various types of paid internships and as well as career build up trainings. The maximum stipend, I could actually think of was 10,000 INR. Many companies conduct their placement drives here such as TCS,CTS, SUNTEC, ABB, INFOSYS, stc.

There are several events conducted by the college such as different clubs, workshops, national level seminars, conferences, and many other competitions to encourage students talent other than academics.

The fee structure is actually depend upon two conditions: whether you are a GATE qualified candidate or not. Since I was a GATE qualified candidate, the fees for me per year was 10,500 INR. The total course fees would cost 25000 INR including the exam fees 1700 INR.

The extracurricular activities mostly focuses on the sports club. They conduct various sports competition all over the year. They win various zonal, district and state level competitions. Also there is a annual sports meet, which is celebrated in a grand manner.

No, I didnt opt for hostel facilities as my home was nearby. But my friends told me the conditions of the hostel. They are pretty good in terms of facilities as well as infrastructure. They provide 24 hours water connection and serve delicious Kerala food.

The alumni are actually the gem of this college. They are all very sweet and fund the college to buy various required equipments. They doesn't just share their experiences but also try to train the students with their knowledge to face the outside world. They give their active participation in this college.

I actually cleared my GATE (Mechanical Engineering) paper in 2017. After that I applied for admission in this college on the web portal given. Based on the merit they contacted me to attend a basic personal interview. I got selected in the interview and voila! I got my admission.

The faculties are very supportive and help with lots of understanding the concept. They are easy going and mingle with students very well. The lab sessions are enjoyable. They are down to the lab to work with us and teach us with lots of unknown facts and figures. They share their doctoral stories and encourage us to do research.
