Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Sc in Fashion Design course is a three years full time course. Each year there were two final semesters that we had to give. Apart from that, our professors had given us several lab works and assignments throughout the entire course
Placement Experience
There were a 45 days internship program that was organized for us by the institution. Various renowned designers and companies had visited our college and offered us jobs. Some of the recruiting companies were BlackBerry Clothing, Cheer Sagar, Nahar group of industries etc. The highest salary offered was 60,000 per month and lowest was 20,000 per month.
College Events
Our college had celebrated various events like freshers party, teachers day party, Halloween party, teej party, diwali party, navaratri party, new year celebration, graduation party and farewell program throughout the year. My campus life was quite eventful.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for my Fashion Design course was 1.51 lakhs. We did not need to pay the fees altogether. The institution took the fees on the semester basis. This fees included the registration fees, tuition fees, examination fees and the other charges.
Campus Life
Our institution had often organized workshops which helped us to learn more about our course and the career opportunities. Apart from that the institution also offered us industrial visits before the internship program. In my batch there were students from different castes and social classes but there was always an unity in all of us. I am still in touch with many of my batch-mates.
Hostel Facilities
The institution offered the hostel facility only for the girl students. Being a girl, I got the advantage to stay in the hostel. The hostel rules were quite strict. My hostel rent was really economic and rooms were average.
Admission
It was always my dream to study in this college. The selection procedure was quite strict in this college. It was a three step process. I was selected through an entrance test, then a situation test and then finally there was a personal interview round.
Faculty
The student to faculty ratio in our institution was 12:1. All the professors were highly qualified and their teaching methods were extremely good. Our faculty members and department professors were really very cooperative and helpful.
