Hostel lyf

College was good. I like being there. College management as usual was slow but it was not their mistake, govt officials has a tendency to do work slow. At last I want say that it was most important part of my life and I will always remember it.

AIEEE, i score 203 out of 360. I opt for this college because I want to do civil and this college is near to my home. Also, location of this college was fantastic.

Curriculum is tough. We have 6 subjects in one semester with 4 lectures of each semester every week. Classes were upto 5.30 in the evening. Sometimes it get difficult to attend classes specially in winter. Subjects generally were related to civil core subjects like design of concrete structures, steel structures, surveying, soil mechanics and many more

Generally only computer science engineering companies came for internship. All other streams students have to try individually for internships and trainings Companies like Amazon, l&t, saint gobain, come for internship. Mine was in soma enterprises.It was good experience though I had to travel 29 kms everyday in chilling hot summer to my training site.

Placement and job opportunities is very high as compared to private colleges. Some colleges not able to open its account where we have around 100 colleges visiting our college each year.

We have 2 fests, one technical techniti and one cultural utkansh They both are of 3 days and was of quite fun. 3 days of holidays with other colleges visiting our college is always fun. Loads of prizes and dj all day make it much more fun.Star night in night increase its essence.

As it is a govt college, so it fees is not much expensive. We have 28k in odd Sem and 24k in even Sem. Plus we have 18 k for mess each sem so I think with hostel providing it is quite cheap

No, only scholarship we have is either for reserved category out for state students. We don't have any scholarship for general category. For loan, I don't know much as this dept is handle by my father.

Campus life is great especially hostel lyf. I suggest everyone should live hostel lyf once in its life. There is also great room for extra curricular activists we have an indoor badminton court, 2 volleyball courts, 2 basket ball courts and 2 cricket cum football grounds. Gender ratio is little bit less.Computer labs are quite efficient.

Hostel facilities lack very much. Though we have light all time, single room for each student, but strict timings along with bad mess food provides stinginess in hostel lyf.Mess food is like that if any person will give you that in free, you will first think twice then I will eat.Still its a hostel lyf, and very much fun. Birthdays, fighting, lan gaming all make it a very memorable experience.

Seniors were fun. As we have no ragging rules, therefore there was special bond between us. Though they passed out from college still we talked to them over phone, meet them in person. Alumni network is not so strong in our college. The reason behind that most alumni don't give a damn what is happening in college. They generally not take any interest in college. That's the reason.

Exam structure is same as it was in school.No one likes exam. Every one likes 2or 3 days of gap between each exam but it can't happens then it will not an exam it will be just formality.Yes it became quite hectic as we only study on last night.

Not cooperative. If I have to sum it up in 1 word it will be the word reluctant. They feel that we are nothing. That's the biggest con of deemed university.Senior faculty don't attend lectures and give every lectures to temp professor has recently completed his mech and not know much about teaching.
