Course Curriculum Overview

We have the entire curriculum of four years and as we have a two semester system,and hence we have a total of eight semesters in this course and we have both practical and theoretical examinations conducted at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

Many renowned companies and organisations offer us placements in the college and they give a good stipend amount and the selection process is very tough and there is a very high competition among the students to acquire these placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the B.tech course for one year is around INR 1,61,000 and hence the fee for the entire four-year course would be INR 6,44,000 and the course fee is expensive. The college offers students scholarships if it is difficult to afford.

Campus Life

We have got well specialised, well maintained and well equipped science labs and we have all the equipments in proper working conditions and if at all there are any kinds of dis-functioning, they are repaired or replaced immediately.

Admission

I had to first pass the entrance examinations with good marks, then after submitting those marks, a list was prepared for the selected students and the students on the mail had to go for an interview.

The teachers are really great, they help us learn and understand the concepts well and the teachers are very much qualified and are well experienced and they make sure we learn and understand the concepts they teach.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

Remarks:

The state open university follows the rule and regulations of UGC, so the fee structure is transparent and very much nominal which is also much lower than any other college in the state. The payment mode like bank draft, online payment etc. is easily accepted by the college. Cash payments is not acceptable.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.
