Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well formed. There are various assignments and projects given to the students which carry marks.The exams are held at the end of each semester and the exam schedule is not at all burdensome.

Placement Experience

The campus offers Placements in some good and average companies. The packages offered are average but half of the students get placed during the last semester before the final exams. There are no internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is extremely low. It was less than that in my school for a month. I paid 1100 for one year and 2200 for two years course as my tuition fees. There is very less charge for maintenance and Labs.

Campus Life

There are various clubs and Associations. I was the part of the sports clubs and the business clubs. They also had literature and Science clubs etc. There are seminars and conferences for students.

Hostel Facilities

I decided not to opt for the Hostel as I lived near by. But I know the the rent is low and all Facilities are provided with tasty mess food and also the rooms are on sharing with 24/7 of electricity and water.

Admission

The admission in the college is completely merit based. After filling the application form and fill all the details and submit documents, you have to wait for the merit list. Luckily, I got my name in the second merit list.

The faculty of the college is very good. They are very understanding and cooperative and guide the students with their experience in their fields and always encourage them to do better and learn more things

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

Remarks:

The state open university follows the rule and regulations of UGC, so the fee structure is transparent and very much nominal which is also much lower than any other college in the state. The payment mode like bank draft, online payment etc. is easily accepted by the college. Cash payments is not acceptable.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.
