Remarks

This college normally targets the research in fields of Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences. The academic network in this university is also very good. Staffs are very experienced. Only the fee is extremely high, other components are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. It is well-designed. It is based on the latest syllabus. Semester wise exams are taken by the university. Class tests are also taken in the course of the semester. The course is based on research work.

Placement Experience

The placements are good at this university. I was also placed in a reputed company with a decent package. University also provides internships to the students. Students also get a stipend in internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees at this university are very high. I have paid about 14 lakhs for the BTech degree. It means that every year the fees is about 3.5 lakhs. It is not affordable for everyone. There are no extra charges in the course.

Campus Life

This university doesn't have that many extracurricular activities. It generally celebrates famous days such as Republic Day and Independence Day. It also celebrates agricultural and fishery days. There is no tolerance with regard to gender.

Admission

This university gives admission to the students on the basis of CET exam. I have also given this exam. After passing this exam with a good rank, I got admission in this college. CET is a common entrance test.

Faculty

The faculty in this college are experienced in their field of study. In this college, faculty are involved in research related work as university focuses on the research of fishery-related topics. Faculty help students in their work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

You need to have secured 60% or 6/10 CGPA in the undergraduate programme from a recognized university.The percentage criteria for SC/ST students is 5.5/10 or 50%. In order to seek admission in my course you need to clear Common Entrance Test as conducted by KEA. The age limit of the candidate should not exceed beyond 17 years. There is also a 5% relaxation given to SC/ST candidate.Other than that you need to secure 50% marks in PCB in class 12th from a recognized board.English is also a compulsory subject.You can apply online for this course.
