Review of KVAFSU, Karnataka

The university is highly equipped with present-day learning techniques. We have canteen served with good quality food, sports room for indoor games and a field for outdoor games. The university has proper 24*7 open dispensary within the campus.

The course curriculum is not so hard and is easy to complete within the given time period. Exams are usually conducted in the mid of April and last of November of early December which leaves us with enough time to prepare and complete the course without getting pressure and having a hectic day.

Yes, our university provides internships during the graduation or post graduation period of a student. Placements and job opportunities rate is very good in our university and a lot of good companies come to recruit students. We even have a placement cell but no one has used it yet.

Our college hosts various events and cultural programs such as national youth festival, national fisheries days, independence Days and many other small inter-college events. We even have inter-college fests all round the year which creates a cheerful environment for over a year.

I personally think that the fee organization of our university is a bit expensive and high being a government institute. The fee structure for my 4 years graduation course is nearly more than Rs 14 lakhs which includes Rs 3.6 lakhs tuition fees, examination fees and others. If other expenses are included then some students won't be able to avail these courses offered by our university.

I have not availed for any scholarships but my friends have. According to them the State Government of Karnataka offers scholarships to students who are academically excellent and dwells in the state. Any student from reserved categories or economically backward classes can be benefited with this scholarships and assist loans from any private or public sector banks for educational loans only.

The college is not that good when it come to extra-curricular activities. We have inter-college and national level sports competitions for cricket, football and many more. Our universities even participate in Chennai Taekwondo Championship 2018.

The seniors and alumni of are college have a good and nice connections with every student in the university. They are very kind, helpful and cooperative. They also help juniors in their projects and assignments papers. They are like a guide to us.

The course that I wanted to opt has an entrance called CET conducted by the university itself before admission. After passing 10+2 boards with decent percentages, I filled the application form and gave all details. As I secured a valid score in the test, I was granted admission in the college for the course I opted for.

Our university offers a diverse culture of different experience faculties belonging to the different research field and their high standards of teaching. The classroom teaching quality is really good and includes practicals, presentations, e-classroom teaching and conduct regular classes etc.
