My journey in BNMUCOle

The BEd programme of our university is one of the best in the country. We are taught by the university to help us become employable in the future. They made sure to train us in professional capacities. The best part of the university is the environment to learn and strive for the best.

The course i studied was very good. We learned about human behaviour, subject knowledge and many variety of things. BNMU tuaght me using case studies, journal discussion, children observation and subject knowledge. The course was 2 years long but i finished it in 3 years.

My course had students going in for intership. We were required to finish 20 weeks of placement by the end of the course. The teachers helped us secure the internship and we had other teachers watching an analysing how we were abled to teach the students. I had a lot of fun during my internship. The first class you teach is very rewarding and exciting experience.

The course fees is very feasible as the university chooses to charge you the exact amount and nothing more. I had to pay 35,000 rupees as part of my course fees. I think this was in guidelines with the National Council for Teacher Education. Either way pay that much for the experience i received in relation to my professional capacity was very good.

BNMU has a variety of clubs you can join and participate in. We also have a students union that plans various activities for us. I joined the NSS and worked with them engaging the community. We organised campus cleaning, orientations various cultural activites, blood donations etc.

I got admission with my marks in my bachelors, I had done BA in English and got an aggregate marks of 89 percent. I applied and they told me i had to sit for an entrance exam which i had passed. They called me back and told me to bring in my documents for verification.

Our faculty was filled was capable and determined teachers who were always ready to help. There was a total of 16 teachers for about 200 students. They were all very welcoming and help us with clearing doubts and they were available to contact via phone or in the staffroom.
