Course Curriculum Overview
The course includes mostly working with the head teachers and professors and simultaneously focusing on their research area as well under their guidance. The research program thoroughly guides them through the lanes of basics of biology and gives them in depth knowledge about the concepts they might not know about too.
Placement Experience
The college does not provide job opportunities or any other sort of employment opportunity. Many students from outside the university apply for internship under many of the professors. The professors only allow fellow research program which is the doctoral program for which the students need to undergo admission process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in the institute is feasible. Not only for Ph.D., but for all the other courses available in the institute the fee is less compared to the fee in all other colleges. One year fee includes the fee for both semesters in an year.
Campus Life
The candidates make good use of the laboratories for conducting any laboratory related experiments. It also has a small ground, for the recreational and leisure time to play any physical games or other sort of activities. Additional campus facilities such as Auditorium, Canteen, Computer Lab, Cultural zone, Theatre, Library, Medical Facilities, Classroom, Sports, Grounds are also there.
Hostel Facilities
Since the college is affiliated to the S.P. Pune University for postgraduate research it has a distinguished faculty, modern infrastructural facilities, well-equipped laboratories, a guest house and students?hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
An Alumni community has the power to solve most of the problems of the institute. Job feature on this portal helps all to identify themselves as a job provider or a job seeker. Once the profile is set, they can view and apply to the jobs posted by the alumni in all different industries. They can also provide or apply for an internship through this feature.
Admission
The application mode is online and candidates can apply for their desired course. The applicant must possess either a CSIR/UGC-Junior Research Fellowship or NET-LS/GATE. They must have completed their M.Sc. with minimum 60% aggregate marks. The list of the candidates short-listed for interview will be available on the official website. The interview will be conducted as per the University rules.
Faculty
The Professors mostly highly educated and some extremely intelligent doctors and researchers who have tremendous amount of experience in their respective field of research are in the faculty. They encourage the candidates to do things and learn new concepts on their own, by giving practical examples.
