Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the law college is excellent, and they have a lot of focus on practical lawyering skills. They nurture your judicial instincts and there are a lot of MOOT courts, research opportunities and so on in the college.
Placement Experience
Since Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University has a very good reputation, several firms hire from here. The university has entered in MOU's with many different MNC's and Law firms and even state courts as well. There are several opportunities to explore.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is feasible. The total tuition fees per annum is INR 42,000 for the merit candidates. There is a one-time admission fee and University Development Fee of each INR 5,000 respectively. Along with all the miscellaneous fees such as Bar Council Inspection Fee, MOOT court fee it comes to a total of INR 87,635.
Campus Life
The NSS and NCC cadre is extremely active in TNDALU and they are always looking for new members. The NSS has represented the college in many different avenues and youth exchange programs, and so has the NCC. Many different sports activities are also held. There is an active Youth Red Cross as well.
Admission
Admission for BA LLB and other combined programs is solely on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam, that is in the HSC examination. The basic eligibility is that you need to have an aggregate of 70%(For Open students) excluding languages, and 60% for SC. Please note that marks obtained in any improvement exams will not count.
Faculty
The faculty is always well qualified and they are excellent at teaching us. They are all hired on the basis of UGC's norms and guidelines, and many of them have cleared NET/SET exams and have been practicing lawyers at some point.
