Good Medical College.

The course curriculum was vast but very important. It was a five year course which indudes one year of Internship program. The curriculum includes subjects like physiology, bio-chemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, pathology. The curriculum includes course work, training, theory, practical etc. The college conducts Internal assessment and final examination every year for the students.

Internship facility was provided by the college. The college does not provide placement for the students. But there are many career options after completing the course. Students can start their career as a Medical professor, public Health Worker, Hospital Administration, consultants, physicians and Medical Assistants in Hospitals and Health care centres. After completing my course, i got a job in a private hospital as a Medical Assistant. My salary package was around 8 lakh rupees annually. I was very satisfied and happy with my job.

As it was government college, the fees was very less. The entire fees of the five years course was around 55000 rupees. In every year, i paid around 11000 rupees which was very much feasible as to the demand of the course. As i opted for hostel accommodation, my hostel fees was around 20000 rupees annually which was not included in the total fees.

Our college provides a very good platform for the students by organizing many extracurricular activities. Our college organizes many activities like annual sports, cultural activities, annual function, students union election, educational tours. These extracurricular activities helps us to recognise and enhance our skills and abilities.

Yes, i opted for hostel accommodation as i stay far away from my home. The infrastructure of the hostel was average. But the hostel provides good facilities for the students. The hostel provides very hygienic and healthy food. The rooms of the hostel was furnished with wardrobes, study table, chairs, bed. Many other facilities like power backup facility, geyser facility, washing machine, refrigerator, pure drinking water etc are also provided. The hostel appoints an warden who takes care of the students and look over all the amenities.

The admission process in our college was based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. I got admission in this course after qualifying my higher secondary examination with 90 pecent of marks. Students have to pass physics, chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English with minimum 50 percent of marks in higher secondary examination. The college conducts a National Eligibility Cum EntranceTest for the students who wants to take admission in this course. Selection was based on the entrance test and the marks obtained in the higher secondary examination.

Faculties of our college are the most talented professors. They try their best to make the students understand. Besides regular classes, they also take extra classes for the students which helps us a lot in our studies and examination. They are very much interested to teach us on their respective subjects.
