Remarks
Government kilpauk Medical College was one of the prominent and good college in Chennai. The college provides very good infrastructure facilities to its students. There are many facilities like spacious classroom with table and chairs, auditorium, common room, hostel, conference room, canteen, playground etc. The college provides very quality education to the students. The teaching staff of our college was very talented and friendly. The non teaching staff are also very helpful. The environment of the college was very calm and peaceful.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was tough but very useful and valuable. The curriculum spreads over three years. It includes both theoritical and practical elements. The course was more practical oriented and research based. The college conducts its examination on regular basis.
Placement Experience
Most of the students after completing their course are very much successful in their own fields. Placement was not provided by the college. But job opportunities was very good after completing the course. Students after qualifying their course can work in clinic, private and government hospitals as Doctor. Students also can join in Medical College as a teaching faculty.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was not at all expensive. My total fees was around 75000 rupees. Yearly i paid around 25000 rupees which was very much feasible. The fees was affordable and manageable to pay for all the students. Hostel fees and examination fees was not included in the total fees.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities plays an important role in our day to day life. The college organizes many extracurricular activities like indoor and outdoor games, various awareness programme, NCC, cultural functions, traditional day etc. Alumni meet, Sports meet were also organized in our college on regular basis. The college encourage and motive us to participate in all the activities.
Admission
After qualifying my MBBS degree, i took admission in this course. The minimum requirement for getting admission was 50 percent of marks in MBBS. To get admission, students need to qualify their NEET PG entrance examination. Students who qualify all the minimum requirements will be eligible for getting admission.
Faculty
All teachers are very determined and dedicated towards the students. They have very good knowledge in their respective subjects. Teachers are strict but loving nature. Teachers are very co-operative and polite.
