Beautiful memories

College management was too good. No hard remarks against them. Use to conduct all good activities and gives full space to students but whenever strict action need to be taken like in disciplinary action then they were super strict.

Banasthali university has its own entrance exam.I qualified the exam by securing 70 marks.It's entrance exam pattern was similar the AIEEE. Well I choose to be an engineer since its like a tradition in my family. My parents are engineer. My younger brother is also an engineer.

Course was standard one which is followed in almost all colleges.Each semester comprises of six subjects.we had learnt many computer languages c,c++,pascal.Data structure networking compiler designing,Database management system,Operating system,Microprocessor, software engineering, digital electronics,Web technology.discrete mathematics were the main subjects taught to us with a good practical knowledge of the required course. One of the semester was dedicated to the project.There were many certificate course use to run,like I did Ccna programme and also certificate in Web technology.

Our college doesn't provide any internship.so there arises no question of stipend. But our college has tie up with big companies all through out india. Which use to come and select candidates from our institute and provide us an internship.

Placement and job opportunities are very good.Almost all IT companies comes there and recruit students in big numbers. IBM comes and takes students in lots.It is coming there since many years. Accenture, Hcl, wipro, TCS and many more companies in list. So almost all students are absorbed .

This is a favourite time when we were out side of our hostel till very long as since our hostel gates closes by 9.During cultural fest all sorts of programmes use to be there like fashion walk,dance programme, singing programme. It's almost same for all college.The specialty of our college was kalbelia dance. We had such a fab kalbelia dancers from our college. Since ours was a university all the departments use to conduct their own programme like MBA people have program named sandhya, we bech people have our cultural fest name mayuk. Apart from all these there is an annual function for all the students together. It happens on a very large scale. Many big people like montex Singh aluwalia sir came as chief guest of that program, set vasundhra raje at that time cm of Rajasthan came to see our annual fest.

Fee structure of banasthali is very nominal.there were two quota one is general other is NRI. In general quota those students who qualify exam and are in top list comes while NRI is a management quota through which people come through donations.General candidates fee is 45 k per year while NRI quota people have to pay around one lakh per year. Hostel and mess were very cheap.Combindly we have paid 20k for an year.Which is very cheap.

Well I haven't availed any scholarship from.college hence don't hve much idea about scholarship offered by banasthali.

Campus life was too much fun but only with girls since it was a women's university. Whole of the campus was ours.since campus was very big bus use to run within campus.We use to travel for free in bus roaming from one end of campus to other eating samosa kachori panipuri almost daily.For the first time in my life I have seen lesbians.To my wonder well still wondering how to they manage. Well for us straight people our phone bill was in 3 to 4 numbers and has to rely on reliance network for talking to boyfriend.Banasthali is very good for person with overall development. There we had almost all activities horse riding, swimming, polo,To, basketball court,football ground, cricket ground. Also banasthali band use to represent on 26th Jan pardes in Delhi.Our professors use to call people from outside for our workshops. They have conducted Ccna workshop networking workshop robotics and many more. All the labs were centralised ac.so a big relief in jaipur summer. Well all the lab assistance were good and helpful.

Hostel was very well maintained.students have to take care of after their room cleanliness while management shall look after gardens of hostel,corridors. Daily sweaper use to come and clean all the washrooms as their were common washrooms for Wings. About hostel food it's very homely. Every Tuesday we were served sweet dishes and gets curd daily.students those who are sick can ask cook to prepare customised food for them. Mess workers were very friendly and cooperative.

Seniors were too cooperative and use to treat us like their own younger sisters. If there was any tradition of tieing rakhi between sisters I surely would have done. No raging no holy Shit to torture junior students was their. It was like a big family of girls.

BanasthalI takes so many exam hence it makes students so habitual with exam that the exam fever goes away. That's the best part by the way Class test twice a month.then periodicals comes then there is a end semester exam. Class test consists of 10-10 marks.And periodicals also of 10-10 marks. End semester exam consists of 40 marks. In final calculation of marks periodicals full 10 marks are added while class test percentage is just a 3%. Along with this projects, labs practical marks are also added in final result.

Faculty were too good. They were so dedicated that few of the faculties use to prepare notes for us and distribute us.which helped us a lot not only in clearing college exams but also many competitive exams like gate,bank exams. They were so cooperative that we can contact them any time over the phone or sometimes goes to their house. It's very hard to find such faculty in this professional world where all of people running behind money.
