My MBBS Days

I am speechless about this college and have nothing negative to say. This college is really great in terms of academics, infrastructure, hostel facilities with good food and accommodations. We have several interesting practicals and internships that enhance our skills in this particular field.

It is a well-known fact, that the course curriculum of an MBBS student is vast, hectic and lasts for a period of 5 years. In this duration we learn a lot of things about medical career and have interesting as well as sometimes boring lectures and practicals. Exams and labs here are quite frequent that leaves us with frantic days.

The placements and job-opportunities for MBBS students that too completed degree from a government institute like this are really good. A number of seniors have already been with well-known and reputed companies.

The total course fees for MBBS degree is nearly Rs 1.12 Lakhs which also covers examination fees, other fees like admission fees and renewal fees, tuition fees etc for 5 consecutive years. Since it is a Government institute the MBBS course fees is comparatively less than other private college providing the same specialization.

There are a number of scholarships that can aid students educational facilities in this college. Any student coming from financially weaker families or backgrounds and have performed extra-ordinarily in their previous academics can apply for scholarships and take educational loans from banks as per guided by the college. The students should apply for the scholarship before the academic starts. For students who academically great can go for Merit cum means based Scholarships and students from economically weaker families can apply for Central and state government merit and National Scholarships.

We have a number of extra-curricular activities going on in our college every year. We also participate in various blood donation camps, attend workshops and seminars as well as conferences hosted in our college or in any other college.

Yes, I have opted for hostel facilities and quite liked it as well. The hostel rooms are very spacious with 4 students to live in a single room, we have hygienic and cleaned lavatories, really good foods and dining tables in the mess, a common room with a TV etc. I would rate the hostel facilities and infrastructure on over all basis an 8 out of 10.

I got accepted in this college on the basis of my NEET scores. As I have completed my 10+2 boards in the field of science, I opted medical as my career and for that I appeared NEET as well as other medical exams. Later on the basis of my rank in NEET exam, I got admission here.

We have extremely experienced and well-educated faculties with us in this college. Some of them are retired doctors from Government hospitals. The lectures and practicals conducted by these faculties are full of knowledge and enthusiasm as well.
