Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is pretty vast and make me familiar with the basic in and out of Journalism. The course topics range from history to basic legalities of journalism. The course curriculum enabled me to have exposure to new/evolving techniques of reporting/editing/production/ distribution.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement record is very good in our college. Leading news channels and National television networks offer placements to the students of the ISOMES. Average salary packages vary from 2 LPA to 5 LPA. We have a compulsory internship in 3 year of course which is totally industry oriented .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit expensive for the students . We have to pay around 1,30,000 INR for one year . The college provides good facilities but the fees is bit high . Scholarships are also given to the students who perform academically well in their course .

Campus Life

The campus life is good and we got a lot of corporate exposure. The college campus is surrounded by lush greenery. The infrastructure is good and enabled with digital technologies. The labs have full-fledged tools necessary for a journalism course. The social life is also good. We got to meet different people from different academic and cultural backgrounds.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Students from outside are given preference in the hostel allocation process. The hostels have an in-total capacity of accommodating 500 students. The interior of the rooms are really good .

Admission

The college offers admission to the students on the basis of marks secured in class 12th examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of which the courses are alotted . To fill online application form your need to visit the official college website .

Faculty

The faculty is good and has an ample amount of corporate experience with them. The visiting faculty is also elemental in the teaching structure of my college . The college has a nice set of faculty members who are dedicated to the dissemination of information.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

While searching, why I choose this college only because, firstly it is near to my location and it's in Film City Noida where you got to see very renowned news channels like Zee news, news 24, Aaj Tak and many more. Also the surroundings helps a lot to learn from others, not just inside the college but also when you go outside you got to see many known faces which motivates you and also If you're lucky enough you got a chance to make contacts with them which is quite known thing in media industry. Story of ISOMES

The admission is very easy and simple.we don't have to give any entrance exam and no cut off needed.i didn't like the registration fees that is too high. No eligibility need to avail any course.We can find the application form from their website or contact the counsellor of the college the application fees is 1000 only and application dates are out in the month of july. The frequency and timings of exam are very good to give the exam and are very convenient,the difficulty is also easy if you study well and hard....Read More
