Course Curriculum Overview
My course is vocational course which focuses on a students knowledge of hotel industry.The course provides a great platform for those who have a interest in hospitality industry and want to learn cooking on a professional level.The subjects taught are catering science, food & beverage science, basic french for hotel industry, Travel & Tourism sector, housekeeping department, Front keeping operations etc.The course duration is three years divided into six semesters.
Placement Experience
Placements are offered both for training as well as for jobs. The training period is about 6 months and after that the students can apply for the jobs. If lucky enough, some students are also provided with foreign jobs. The highest package offered was about 15 LPA while minimum package offered was about 6 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course for hotel management was a 4 year course whose overall fees including the hostel rent and the cost of books and food was all around 3 lakhs. This fees however was proved very feasible for me as compared to the other big colleges.
Campus Life
Our college supports a lots of extracurricular activities such as art and craft club, dance clubs, college fests which are held once in every year and also various other competitions in many games such as cricket, kabbadi, basketball, football, etc. Out college is also known for conducting various brain boosting quizzes once in every 6 months.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel facilities are very good in my college and the classrooms are very suitable and comfortable for our education purposes. Our labs are also very big doesn't lack even a single equipement needed for any of the experiments. Our classrooms and hostel rooms are always cleaned time to time hence proper hygiene is maintained.
Admission
The Candidate passed or appearing for 10+2 examinations or its equivalent and secured at least a score of 45% marks in aggregate for backward class category and persons with disabilities candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.
Faculty
The teachers of our college are very experienced as most of them are qualified from MSIHMCT, so have great knowledge in these subjects. The teaching staff are always prepared for the queries of the students and are very supportive and helpful in their nature.
