Remarks

There is no cutoff or percentage requirement all it takes for a person to pass the entrance to the institute is SOP statement writing, Group Discussions, and Personal interview round! The college has its own customized selection process and judges one on capabilities and not marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty here is highly professional and has a background of working with big players of the hotel industry. Faculty Student ratio is good and there is always a mentor to guide and help each and every student personally.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Taj comes in for Marketing, Housekeeping, Front office, and other hotel-related areas where a student can join in according to his interest. Marriott also comes in with the same job roles but slightly offers a higher stipend.

Placement Experience

4th-year students are sent on the internship and are selected by big players like Taj and Marriott. At intern level they are offered around 20-30k and it keeps increasing as they progress. 100% placements is what campus claims and it is somewhat true.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is around 5 Lakhs per year which includes everything from hostel,food and educational charges. Students get placements from the campus itself from big players like Taj and Marriott. Hence the fees is worth paying If one wants to get selected in a big company.

Campus Life

The library is wholesome and has a lot of books you won't ever be able to read all. Every festival is celebrated be it Christmas, Lohri, or Holi. Sports are played after campus hours i.e. 9-6. Various clubs like music club, drama club, and tech club are run within the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very huge and has plenty of space for students. The playing area is separate and washrooms are cleaned every 12 hours. Meal quality is the best to date as they provide chicken or paneer every second day.

Interview Experience

Group Discussions is one of the main tests of getting into the college the topics given are based on current affairs for example. Women entrepreneurship and empowerment. Preparation is by seeing videos online and getting involved in mocks.

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

The Best College Campus

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.

This college guarantees placement into multinational hotel companies like Taj, Mariott, ITC, etc. Apart from placements, the student grows on a personal level. The admission process is a bit tough. Going through three stages of selection beginning with a 1500 word Statement of Purpose for joining the course, then having a group discussion and the last step includes a personal interview with the faculty of the college. The main reason for preferring this college is the placement criteria it provides plus it also has an affiliation with the University Of Huddersfield, and students can opt-in the third year to go and study there.
