4 years of intellectual paradise

Overall a good experience. Would rate 8.5 out of 10

AIEEE. Scored a rank of 18000. Chose to pursue btech information technology which was at a high growth at that time

Very hectic and detailed. First year we had subjects of every discipline. From 2nd year onwards subjects were based on your specialization. We had no choice on the subjects.

No stipend for internships. Did my internship at Oil India Limitd., navratna co. The internship period was 2 months. Had to complete a project during that period which was part of the grading process.

Placements were very good with more than 75 companies visiting the campus. More than 95% students secured jobs with an avg package of 4 lpa.

Many events (tech, sports & cultural) were organized every year with more than 2000 students participating. The tech and sports events were a big hit. Cultural event too generated a lot of attraction.

Nominal fee. Close to rs 18000 per year. Each year has 2 semesters. The first semester of the year costs rs11000. The second semester of the year costs 6500. This is for general students. Special category students and girls had lesser fees

We had students from all across the country. the experience was very good. Frequent sports events among hostelers were held. Parties were less frequent but you can have your own parties among friends

Hostels were old but all facilities were available. Mess food was horrible. This was back in 2009. Now they have constructed a new hostel with state of the art facilities. But I don't think the mess food has improved even now.

We had frequent quizzes on both theory and practicals along with mid and end term exams. Every quiz had weigtage on the final grade

Informative and helpful. They had many years of experience in teaching with each faculty holding PhD degrees. We also had guest lecturers coming providing special sessions on specific subjects
