Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very aptly designed and takes into account every aspect of Agriculture that a student needs to learn to have a career in it. We have various subjects to study and that makes the curriculum very interesting. The exam period is very hectic for the students and we also have to prepare for a number of practical.
Placement Experience
The internship and placement facilities of the college are outstanding despite being established in 2017. In 2018, around 94% of interested students got placed and the college has been trying to maintain the percentage ever since. Some of the companies regularly visiting the campus are KPIT, LTI, Atos Syntel, Mphasis, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for B.Sc course in Agriculture is Rs. 4.81 Lakhs for 3 years and the students can pay in installments yearly or every semester. The annual fees for the course is Rs. 1.60 lakhs. Students are also provided with merit or sports scholarships which is very useful.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities at the college are amazing. The labs, classrooms, libraries and auditorium are well-maintained and furnished with the latest technology equipment. The college organizes a number of sports and cultural events throughout the year which are very popular among other college students.
Admission
I am currently pursuing B.Sc Hons in Agriculture from Sandip University, Bihar. I had scored 80% marks in my class 12th board exams and I wanted to do B.Sc in Agriculture. I had applied in the university online and the eligibility criteria was to have more than 50% marks in 10+2 in PCM/PCB/PCMB. Thus, the admission and selection process was very easy and convenient.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very disciplined and punctual with the tasks allotted to them. The teachers take regular classes and lab sessions. They have amazing methods to make us understand any topic. We are also taken on field trips for real life comprehension of the subject.
