Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Psychology was more of a theoretical one, however, during our lab classes, we were trained like professions to probe the subject. There were many reports that we had to submit and so many questionnaires about different topics were to be filled by our subject who could be anyone.
Placement Experience
There were no placements or summer internships for our course. For being a professional counselor, only graduation degree or PG Diploma is not enough. It takes years of practice so I will not blame this on our college for not bringing companies to the college for placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The overall fee structure of our college was nominal as it is aided by government. For my course, I had to pay somewhere around 8,000 for 3 years which is quite feasible for everyone and could easily be afforded by everyone.
Campus Life
There were a lot of opportunities provided by the college apart from the regular courses. These include NSS, NCC, students union, etc. The college fest was one of the biggest event for the college where students from various college visited our campus.
Admission
The online forms are available on College website and can be filled at the comfort of the home. I filled the online application with the nominal registration fee of 150 rupees and after my cut off, I went to the college for document verification.
Faculty
The faculty were working professionals and professional counselors. They taught us with utmost attention and interest. We were given assessments and tests that we were required to conducted on our subjects.
