Course Curriculum Overview
Development is a big issue in our country. Bridging the gap between urban and rural development has always taken a backseat. This 2-year Masters course aims at educating the students about this very need!
Placement Experience
The training and placement cell draws up brochures of students and companies every year to find the perfect fit! University also makes sure they do a thorough career assessment of the students to see what they would prefer.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. No doubt about this. This is among the top few names that comes up in the same breadth as social studies. They charge Rs 11,990 for the first semester and then Rs 4510 for the next 3 semesters.
Campus Life
Sporting activities are highly encouraged here- we have volleyball, football and table tennis sessions with classmates regularly! The disciplinary committee is strict and this assures there is always peace on campus.
Admission
I completed my B.A in Sociology and wanted to continue in the field of public policy or social work. That is when I came across this Development Policy and Practice course. I knew it was just perfect for me. I filled in the form and was accepted!
Faculty
The faculty of the college are all famous because of their multiple research papers, seats on foreign councils and seminars they conduct worldwide. We are privileged to have professors like Dr Inderjeet Singh Sodhi teaching us!
