Remarks

It is great medical college with well equipped equipments required in the medical profession. It has several health personnels visiting the campus regularly to check upon the students. It has created a beautiful surgeons and doctors for the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is based on the science subjects. It has various specialisations like medical surgical nursing, community health nursing etc. It is a two year course which provides knowledge about the different aspects of nursing.

Placement Experience

The college helps the students to look for jobs. It usually hires the students for the college itself. Even the other medical institutes hire the students from the college. I am working as an assistant nurse in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee has been kept very affordable. It charges the total amount of ?4,02,000 for the two year course. It can be paid in two academic years. The charge for the first year is ?2,03,500 and the rest amount can be paid in the second year.

Campus Life

The college conducts workshops and seminars for the students. It also conducts musical programs for the entertainment of the students. It has guests visiting regularly to motivate the students to do better.

Admission

The admission to the college is done on the basis of entrance exam. But the admission procedure for M.Sc is based on the graduation passing certificate. It requires a bachelor? degree in the science stream.

Faculty

The faculty of the college holds a PhD degree which makes them highly qualified. They teach us with practical examples and often provide us with case studies to check our understanding of the subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

Education quality is top class. Studies are given full priority. Students need to be present for every class otherwise they'll be left behind . College feels like school sometimes considering the amount of pressure the syllabus puts on a student.

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.

Remarks:

Management is very good and they always work to give best environment for students. The campus is also very large. Transport facility is also 24×7. Cafeteria and eating joints are also inside the campus. Till now its very pleasant to be a part of this college. I have got to learn many new things about myself.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

I was getting pims jalandhar , dmc ludhiana and cmc ludhiana. However i went for cmc ludhiana because first though pims jalandhar was 20 lakh cheaper acadamics and patient load is very bad and dmc ludhiana was 30 lakh expensive than our college. I didnt got admission in gmc. For 40 lakhs it is worth for money. Admission happen through neet and it is on merit basis. However there is reservation for sc, obc , and christian students.
