Remarks

The good remark is we have all the facility at just one place. The bad remark is people are not taking the study serious even teachers they used to give very less time in teaching because they are very in their research work.

Entrance Preview

The name of the entrance exam is CUCET(Central University common entrance test) used to conduct at all India level and they select only 30 students in each branch. I scored 40 marks but they will take 60% weightage of this and 60%weightage of 12th board exam. I opt this because in all universities I did not find any place where they give an integrated course in Economics.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is really good and designed by UGC as this university comes under the act of parliament so all the decision will be taken by the central government.

Internships Opportunities

Till now they have not started any official internship program. But yes if a student is interested to work on a topic they may help you but in this process, you will not get the stipend.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement opportunities for Economics students is really excellent because they have collaboration with one of the top institute in our country. Madras School of Economics where placement is around 99% with an average package of 6 lakh.

College Events

5

University always used to celebrate each and every festival at a high level. They celebrate Diwali, Pongal, Saraswati Puja, Holi, and other festivals also. There are 4 groups in our college and university will divide the whole students into those groups and among those groups every year we have cultural competition, dance, Song and sports competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is really chief. I don't think any university is there who is providing a room at 250 rs per month including all the charges electricity, wifi facility, and Gym. Even for the semester fee, the charge is only 6000 rs per semester which is quite low compared to any other university. So its really chief and affordable for middle and low-class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

No-till now nobody is getting any kind of scholarship from university nor any loan facility. But yes in the coming time as the university will develop they will start providing all these things.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is pretty cool because we have a very big campus (500 acres) and for each sport, we have a stadium where students can go and play anytime they want. They can enjoy the library with full AC. Every year the university used to organize the sports competition, Cultural competition among the 4 groups which is divided among the students not only this university have Hindi club for Drama, English club for debate, Movie club for a movie, Economic Association for any changes in economy observed every month.

Exam Structure

Exam pattern is like they will take 3 internal out of that they will choose best of 2 internal marks and average it or convert it in out of 40 marks. The remaining 60 marks they will conduct external exam every semester and overall the marks will come out of 100. Here instead of marks, they will provide grade points means 85 above 10 points 75-84 9 points and in similar ways.

Faculty

4

The faculty are really good at their work. Most of them have very good experience in teaching. They did their Ph.D. from outside India and now they are serving their nation. They make us work and always encourages social and extracurricular activities too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
