My College Review

The course structure was good and pretty thorough. The curriculum was prescribed by the NCHMCT council, which regulates all the Hospitality programs offered by various institutes. The semester was divided into six biannual semesters.

Yes, our college provide the placement as according to me placement are 60% as other students don't want to sit in campus or don't give their 100%in campus. Yes our college provide internship in hotel only. Hotel brands like Taj , Le Meridian , Vivanta , ITC visit our campus for the placements and the average package is around 5 LPA .

The fee structure depends on person to person whether it is feasible or expensive . Like for me it was a bit expensive because I belonged to lower middle class family group . I used to pay 1 lakh INR per year as the fee . I applied for the various scholarships by the state government and they really proved helpful to me .

Yes, sports also happens in our college as in sports fest. Competition were there like poster making, General knowledge quiz competition, essay competition, bycycle competition etc, as college provide cerficate on winner rank basis. We enjoy the campus life very much.

Alumni network of our institute is pretty strong in our college. Many of our seniors are placed in top hotel chains, even some of them at managerial level. They are invited on different occasion to share their career journey and in order to motivate students.

You have to clear an entrance exam in order to secure admission to this college . I gave NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination) exam . Faculty was good. We shared a pretty good bond with them and it was worth pondering over. Classroom session included a two way conversation mode of learning. Students actively participated in class room sessions presenting their view-points. I can even say we were pretty lucky to have a such a talented bunch of professors teaching us.
