"The Most Glorious Phase in My Life"

I'm always proud of being a part of the College and I couldn't find any particular negative aspect regarding the College or the course. My future was well shaped by the Institute and owe so much for that.

The duration of the course is 3 years and follows Semester system for examinations. The course mainly focus on caring infants, children and adolescents at the community level and at primary and secondary levels of health care.?The institute offers proper training and is designed in such a way that the work load of students is dwindled. All preventive methods are taught to the students in the right manner.

The course offers job opportunities in Community Health Centers, Mental Health & Child Health Centers, Health or Nutrition Program, Medical Colleges & Universities, Military Hospitals Private Clinics, Medical Content Writing. Also a graduate of the course could work as an Assistant Professor, Nutrition Coordinator or a Personal Physician. Graduates could also work in Private hospitals.

The Institution organises various events and celebrates special days like the Hospital Day, International Yoga Day etc related to medicineor science. Academic and extra curricular activities are also provided by the college for the students including Sports meet, Cultural meet and variois Inter-College Quiz Programmes too are organised.

The fee structure in CMC is quite affordable. The course fee ranges from around 6000 per semester. It's nothing high because the experience one gets after completing the course is something great. As an alumnus I could clearly state that it is worth learning there.

Along with academics, the Library, Laboratory, Canteen, Community lab, Extra curricular activities, and Clinical facilities work progressively in the Institution. The college campus comprises of a 400m running track, central cricket pitch, football ground, and facilities for field events. The playground also has a basketball court, volleyball court, an indoor stadium and a Gymnasium with modern equipments for fitness. A Committee for Anti Sexual Harassment too runs in the Campus.

There's separate hostel facility for both girls and boys. Hostels are equipped with proper accommodation facilities, that too at affordable prices. It's not so far off from the college campus. Students run their own mess. Rooms are clean and we're provided with proper food, water and other basic needs with good quality.

As alumnus of CMC, I'm delighted because we're still wrapped by a feeling of being a CMCian. Those students who are currently pursuing their course is in contact with us and oir Alumni network helps a lot in connecting with many.

Health matters! My keen interest in a wide range of health, wellness and illness related matters made me to opt for a Diploma course in Child Health. The course offers students an understanding of health from numerous perspectives, biological, behavioural, cultural and so on. Admission procedure for the course was entirely based on my performance in a relevant entrance test, followed by a round of Personal Interview.

The faculty members are very much interested in broadening the knowledge of students. We're lucky to have such learned teachers. They've often inspired us through narrating their life experiences and are friendly in every respect. While teaching the course, they've also took care of furnishing students with issues of contemporary relevance.
