Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Centre, Operating Systems & DataStructures Laboratory, C, C++, Java, Unix, MAT lab,Physics Lab., Chemistry Lab. It is a 4 year programme of 8 semesters and exams are conducted by university every half yearly.

Placement Experience

The placement is doing so much efforts in making contact with companies for the students the company's always come with good program and a good stipend is given to the student who are actually talented and deserving.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for this program is Is Not expenses it is feasible for everyone the total fees is divided into eight parts that is to be paid for per semester also so many scholarships schemes and education loans are also available for those who can't for that.

Campus Life

There are so many extra curricular activities held in our college for students they enjoy these extra curricular activities with excitement and participate in them. There is no discrimination on any basis in the college they will come every caste gender status everyone with equal respect.

Admission

The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 45% marks for general category 40% marks for SC/ST category from a recognized Board of Education with Non-medical stream. After this am interview round is also held by college jury.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
