Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was well defined and informative. Course is semester wise and there will be theoretical and practical examination in each semester. B.sc microbiology is practical basd course so college have given more focus on practical.

Placement Experience

There are so many job opportunities and good companies like SRL RANBAXY, APPOLO HOSPITALS are visiting our campus for recruitment. Students after doing B.SC microbiology got job in diagnostics lab, biotech company and hospitals with the average package of 4 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for my course B.sc microbiology program was around seventy thousand rupees per annum and the fee is looks feasible. The college also give concession in the fee for the meritorious students.

Campus Life

Our college organise different sports events throughout the year. Main sports played in the college included carom and chess. We also had teams for volleyball, throwball, basketball, table tennis, Football and cricket teams.

Hostel Facilities

There are hostels for boys and girls each hostel is provided with all the basic amenities including gymnasium hall to the students. Hostel rooms are spacious and hostel is provided with 24 hours security.

Admission

My admission in B.SC was done through the merit basis. A merit list is prepared and qualified students are invited for the counselling process. Merit list is prepared on the basis marks scored in qualifying examination.

Faculty

All faculty were very much qualified and they shared their knowledge and own personal experiences to enhance our learning. Some teachers are decicated to study who were conducting their own research projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Saveetha Dental college was my first dream college and I also got into it! I really chose the college because it is ranked the No.1 dental college in India and holds and SCIMAGO rank of no.1 and the World WS ranking is no.18 . The college has a great infrastructure and we do the things at 1st years that only a student of 3rd year does in other colleges! And I don't think many colleges teach them digital designing! Something that this college does teaches! And the labs and fantastic! They are completely since aesthetic and all lab and classrooms are AC conditioned. For joining saveetha dental college you need register through TNMC counselling and choose this college as your first option to join! The cut offs here vary according the the AIR NEET ranks...but mostly you can get admission here if you score around 120-300/750 as well....Read More
