Course Curriculum Overview

Since it is one of the best colleges for Medical in the area. The curriculum methodology is excellent. They mostly use presentations while teaching. Practicals, demos and clinical postings are great and help us to learn a lot. The curriculum has a lot of exams, but in the long run, they help a lot in learning.

Placement Experience

We worked in the associated hospitals of the college and associated nursing homes and our stipend was fixed by the govt of India at Rs 12,000 per month. There is less recruitment from the campus of medical colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Deccan College of Medical Sciences being a private medical college the fees a little high around Rs 11 lakhs for 5 years but most students can pay the fees as there are scholarships for the financially low category students.

Campus Life

College, along with the strong academics do provide the students with the extracurricular activities for their grooming. The college has many societies like drama, fashion, sports, and fine arts. So in that way too you get some time out of studies where you can follow your hobby.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel and the campus of the college are quite good. It is recently reconstructed also. The college has a mess which has good average food. However, the hostel is cool and they charge you around Rs 80,000 per year to avail hostel.

Admission

Students have to appear for one common medical entrance examination, i.e., NEET. It is the only examination for the entrance in medical colleges. You must have in achieved at least 50% in your 10+2 exams as a pre-requisite for applying to this college.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.
