DHSK has taught its students to always remain practical. This is the reason general interaction more than the bookish knowledge is the thing more focused on. Faculty tries it's best to provide all sort of help they can to the students and the infrastructure adds on the positivity of DHSK.
Course Curriculum Overview
My subject for Bachelor's in Science was zoology so I had a lot of practical work and not so much in writing to do. So I had to be present in the labs always. The lab activities were always appreciated and with all the guidance of teachers and the seniors it was quite easy for me to complete the work . Exams were based as two exams for each subject, one practical and the other subjective. In every semester I had examination and a class test.
Placement Experience
Students are assigned with the practical work that are collected for three years and then at the end of their graduation while companies come their works are been presented to them. Stipend with almost 15000INR starting is paid to the students. Students are allowed to do Internships during their graduation period.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is quite feasible in DHSK. Not just meant for the higher economic students but the lower as well. Fees for Bachelor's in Science is approximately 13000 per year and also with the installation of the fees as an option.
Campus Life
If I talk about extra curricular activities in DHSK I remember all the events and the relatable things we used to witness in our time. Celebration of Bihu festival was on the top of all. Seminars, the practical lab visits in DHSK is amazing.
Admission
I got my 10+2 done with biology as my subject and if talking of a good college to study zoology DHSK remains in a good list. I applied for admission in B.sc and after the list was out I was being called for the submission of all the required documents like marksheets and the grade sheets.
Faculty
Faculty of DHSK college is too supportive. Be it in the matter of practical work knowledge or that of the book one. Teachers here always encourage students to take the best out of them and with all the required skills prepare for the future placements.
