Course Curriculum Overview
It is a five year integrated course where the students are taught about business administration with law subjects such as law of torts, family & civil law, criminal law, administrative law, property & constitutional law. It is therefore a specialized course which adorns the students with the knowledge of both the legislative regulations and business law.
Placement Experience
Top recruiters such as L & T technology services, Deloitte, IDBI bank, WNS group, Persistent Systems Ltd visited the college during my time. They selected students for posts like assistant manager, layer, legal adviser, lecturer, research analyst etc. The average package offered at that time was 6 lpa. Internships were also offered to students to work under a lower court judge or a law firm were generally.The internships were generally unpaid in nature.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for regular students are 78,750 for one year. The total fees for five years would come down to 4.8 L after adding all the necessary charges.The total fees for management students are 1,57,500 for one year.The fees for NRI students is 2,67,500 for one year. For me the fees is quite nominal.
Campus Life
Programs such as legal aid women awareness, induction program about various courses, documentary on Bhopal gas tragedy, Yarrathon etc are conducted in our college from time to time.Workshop on "Road safety", banking system in India, resume writing, impact of pollution on environment is also conducted by the student council to uphold the interests of students. Moot court sessions and conferences on Bail jurisprudence and law on sedition is also held in even semesters.
Hostel Facilities
The college has indoor facilities like tennis table, badminton courts, basket court, swimming pool etc. Other facilities include a good generator backup system, lift facility and separate cubical for staff.The classrooms of the college are equipped with ICT. There are Human Right and Women Empowerment cell to uplift the problems and resolve the issues of the females.The hotel rooms are quite big and spacious. Good internet connection and laundry facility is also provided to the students. The mess food is quite good. I would rate the food and facilities 3.5/5.
Admission
You need to have passed 10+2 with 45% from a recognized board. 40% in case of the reserved category.The maximum age limit prescribed by the college for general students is 20 years while for reserved category is 22 years. You need to clear an entrance test and then a merit will be prepared after seeing the relevant marks. If selected you would be called for counselling session and granted admission.
Faculty
The teachers of the college are professional in their course. The teaching methods of every teacher is very unique so that the student can understand the subject in a better manner. The queries on our part are duly cleared by the faculty members. The faculty ration to students in my department was 3:50.
