Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of three and a half years. The main subjects are Nutrition, Health economics, Educational methods and Media for Teaching in the practice of Nursing, Paediatric Nursing. The course formulates a range of acute care skills, rehabilitation skills, etc.
Placement Experience
The course is offered at the IRT school of Nursing. Recruiters like Apollo, SMS, Bombay Hospital, etc. come to IRT PMC. The placement provided was good, about 60% of the students got placement and job offers. You are also provided with training in the hospital.
College Events
The events and activities boost confidence among students and are paced in a way that they also get relaxation from the academic schedule. IRTPMC conducts many events, fest, technical, non-technical cultural events, festivals etc. throughout the semester.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for GNM is ?15000 tuition fees per semester. The total fees will be ?45,000. It is quite affordable. The cost of all the courses varies. The amount is affordable for all the classes. The college is good and the learning provided here makes it worth it to study.
Campus Life
The college has all the facilities. The students can indulge themselves in various sports, take part in workshops and activities. We have Wi-Fi facility, the spaces are clean and hygienic, well-equipped labs, library, reading hall, auditorium, Lawn, Canteen, and medical facility.
Admission
Admission is based on merit and counselling. You must have completed your 10+2 in science stream with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised board. The selection is done by the Directorate of Medical Education Chennai (DGNM).
Faculty
The teachers and staff are always ready to share ideas and suggestions. The students can also share their opinions or ask doubts. As it is a medical course there are a lot of practical sessions conducted in clinics. The course curriculum is also handy and holds students busy.
