Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is student-friendly. First year was easy because a lot of 12th syllabus was repeated, from thereon the level was higher. Nevertheless, it did not put too much burden on us. Exam structure was unbiased and fair to all.

Placement Experience

Big companies did not come to our college for campus placements. As it is, it wasn't necessary. We had been trained properly on the working of industries, and a good percentage of us grabbed good job positions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was easily feasible for most of us. It did not put a burden on our family's earnings, like some other colleges. Annual fees of my course was around ?8,000. In the first year, admission and registration charges amounted to ?1,500.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities and sports are as fundamental parts of college life as textbooks. It is important to let the stress out by engaging in our hobbies. We used to have sport matches. There was also an annual magazine by students- AnanthaYathri.

Admission

I got admission here through merit. There is no entrance test for selection process. I had been studying commerce in class 11th and 12th, and wanted to continue. I registered online for BBA, then after a while, got selected.

Faculty

The faculty were sincerely dedicated towards teaching us, even visiting faculty. They were qualified and were from nice backgrounds. They were strict, but they didn't want us to be afraid of them. They just wanted for us to study hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
