Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of B. Sc. (Agri) is of 3 years. The 3 years included 6 semesters. There was a practical and theory exam at ending of each semester. The college focused on research oriented study. There was a huge scope for agriculture researches in this college. College provided all the facilities to students.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities were excellent. All the large agriculture private as well as government industries visited the college every year and picked up the talented students. About 80-90% students from each batch placed in the different agriculture firms.
College Events
Events were also celebrated enthusiastically in the college premises. All the festivals including holi, navratri celebrated in the college. Along with this annual functions and traditional day also celebrated here. All students and faculty participated in the events and made it wonderful.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of the college was too feasible as compared to other agriculture colleges. The fees of the college was about 45-50 thousands Rs. For each year. Different scholarships were also available for talented students as well as on category basis.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were the daily routine of the college. Different agriculture workshops, exhibitions held regularly in the college. Along with this guest lectures on agriculture advancements and innovations were also arranged in college regularly.
Admission
Agricultural College and Research Institute - [ACRI] is a well known Institute of government of Tamilnadu. The admission in this Institute totally based on merit. According to the 12th score merit list is published. As I scored good marks in 12th I was in first merit list and I got admission here for bachelor of science in agriculture.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was highly educated and talented. Most of the faculty were the PhD holders and they had a great experience in agriculture field. They taught us all the little things about agriculture, new innovations & future scope in agriculture.
