Very good Institute.

The course curriculum was good but little tough. We had to study both theory and practical papers. Industrial visit, practical sessions, theory are an important part of the curriculum. The curriculum focuses on the study of telecommunications, energy and electronic sectors. Exam structure was also good in our institute. Final examinations are conducted in every six month which was based on both theory and practical papers.

More than 70 percent of the students got recruited in the campus interview. Before qualifying my final semester examination, i was selected for the campus interview. During my campus interview, many companies like TCS, TATA MOTORS, Hindustan Copper limited, VOLTAS, AXIS BANK, HDFC etc come to our institute for placement. I got a chance to appear in all the interviews. I cleared my interview and got a job in a multinational company. They offered me a salary package of 8 lakh annually. I was very surprised and happy with my package.

The total fees of the entire course was around 7,20000 lakh rupees. At the time of admission, i paid around 1,25000 lakh rupees. The fees was expensive as most of the students who economically weak cannot afford to pay their fees.

The institute offers many scholarship facility to its students. Some of the scholarship were National scholarship for Disabilities, Tamil Nadu government scholarship for SC /ST and Minority students, central sector scholarship of Top class education for SC /ST students, National Handicapped Finance and Development corporation scholarship, ODISHA government scholarship for post matric SC/ST Students. Loan facility was also provided by the institute. Many nationalised bank offered loan to the students with very low interest.

Extracurricular activities are very good to develop our personalities and bring out our talents. On the sports day of our institute, many sports activities like ludo, chess, kabaddi, kho kho, cricket, volleyball etc are organized. Many competitions like essay writing competition, quiz competition, drama competition, writing competition are also organized in which all students involved and actively participate in all the activities.

The admission process in our institute was based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. For general students, the minimum eligibility was 75 percent of marks in higher secondary examination from science stream. Students from SC/ST, the minimum percentage to apply for admission was 65 percent. To take admission in this course, students should have to qualify their JEE Mains entrance examination. My final selection was based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination.

Most of the teachers of our institute are Doctorate. They are very flexible and helpful. They are always ready to help us whenever we need them. They help us a lot in our studies by giving study materials. Teachers are very warm and enthusiastic.
