This course offers students in-depth knowledge about literature and gives an opportunity to study major literary works. This course develops strong linguistic capabilities of students through practical assignments. A student can also specialize by choosing elective subjects. Apart from English literature, the course also enlightens the students with mass media communication, journalism, philosophy, travel, tourism. This way a student finds great diversity in a single course.

The college gives the candidates training for placements during the course. There is also good faculty members and facilities which guide to get placed in good job. The teachers help a lot in getting placements in various companies. The course curriculum also helps a lot in placements.

The fees structure of my college is less expensive. It is affordable and also feasible. We can say well for student or best for the student to manage their carrier according to their knowledge and creativity.

The college has been empowering all the candidates and focuses on their overall development and growth. The college offers many self-development activities like debates, seminars, talk shows, celebrations which bring out the best in every woman by helping her explore and nurture her capabilities and talents. There are several club facilities like arts club, sports club, quiz club, debate club, value club which contributes in the student? holistic learning intellectually and socially.

This college does have a particularly good atmosphere centric facility, which is clean and well-maintained. A student can apply for hostel at the time of admission. Hostel infrastructure makes the candidates to feel hostel as their home. There are separate hostels for girls and boys with good meals.

The alumnus base too includes some very empowered women who have achieved milestones in their respective career and carved a niche for themselves. Some of them are Ms. Jayshree Mishra who is a worldwide famous novel author, Dr. Nancy James, who became the first woman Vice chancellor of Kerala, Ms. V.Karthika who is a published writer and many more. These women establish an example and do justice to the wonderful education imparted at this institute.

Students can download the application form from the official website of SDE and can be submitted to MG University office. Candidates must have completed 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be the basis for preparing the merit list. The Kerala Government reservation rules will be followed during the final selection process.

The Head of each department of Arts, Science and Commerce and other programs in Law, Business Administration, Computer Application and Tourism Administration guide the candidates in all manners. They focus on ground level teaching that is by clearing the basic knowledge. Also the assignments are very relevant to understand the subject more clearly.
