Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 6 semesters.The course curriculum is adapted to changes according to the industry requirement frequently. Our lectures are completing portions on time as per our curriculum.
Placement Experience
About 85% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Cisco, Arista, Honeywell, etc., are the top recruiters of our course.
College Events
Most of the festivals are celebrated in the college. But there is no major college fest conducted for some years. The college life is not much enjoyable as there are some strict rules. However, the campus has a very peaceful environment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is 50k which is moderate. There is a lot you get for your money. We get the chance to learn from the best education and industry experts. This gives us the chance to an insight of the world out there.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) will be applicable for SC/ST/physically handicapped and Female candidates are pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full time courses through an institute authorized to conduct the DOEACC accredited courses.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is good with huge libraries and classrooms. Labs facilities are up to the mark. There are many hostels to accommodate students.Classrooms are spacious and have fans. The college encourages sports.
Admission
The basic objective of BCA Course is to provide young men and women with the required knowledge and necessary skills to get rewarding careers into the changing world of Information Technology. To get into the BCA I had to passed 10+2 (any stream) securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation to ST/SC candidates) from the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Mizoram University preferably with Mathematics as one of compulsory course.
Faculty
The teachers were helpful, and approachable to an extent. Their teaching quality was also satisfactory. The curriculum included more of theoretical stuff, which I felt that will not make someone industry-ready. Resources provided for practical isage was very less.
