Course Curriculum Overview
The bachelor consisted of three years and the master consisted of two years. The total cost was five years long. Since this was a vocational study Institute, our main focus was always on the practical and the curriculum revolved around the practical aspect of the child. We had various projects and activities where we were taught how to work design and craft an item. The theoretical paper were taken in the form of external which was also important to clear.
Placement Experience
The jobs were arranged at the end of fifth year. Companies like known brands like Aldo, Titan, Lakme, Raymond,Nyakka, Crocs came to interview where our fashion skills were tested. We could go in any field and also opt for the local Indian crafts and art culture. 95% of the students used to get placed with an average package of Rs.10 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college was very high and expensive around Rs.3 lakhs for a year. It could be submitted in the form of demand draft or other online mode of payments but no cash was accepted. The fees could be submitted semester wise. Various scholarships are available for the students who were meritorious.
Campus Life
The college has a paradise and had a very friendly vibe and environment. We had all the activities in the college including all kinds of arts and training. There were more girls than boys at the campus and all of the students came from different backgrounds. It was a safe and secure environment.
Admission
There was an entrance examination based on the fashion craft conducted by the University. After clearing that exam I apply to the college and got through the second stage that is the interview session. The interview round mainly consisted of counselling and asking why do we have interest in this field. After that selection I got selected for the combined course.
Faculty
All of the faculty was very sweet and humble. The teachers were supportive and helped us along the curriculum. They were all experts in the field and had the experience of minimum five years enabling us to know better. Overall they were fluent in English which led to no communication gap.
