Course Curriculum Overview
MA Geography is 2 years course which provides in depth knowledge of physical features of earth. The course involves advanced studies of earth? surface, essence, and composition. This included subjects like Geomorphology, Economic Geography, Climatology and Soil Geography, Geohydrology and Oceanography, Geohydrology and Oceanography and such.
Placement Experience
No placement and internship opportunities are given to students in our college which is the only drawback. The college keeps students aware about upcoming opportunities. The students can enter various departments like Government Research Institutes, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) , Cartographer, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of our college was quite low for masters degree as compared to other institutions. They only charged Rs.2500 for first and second year individually. My entire MA course was completed in Rs.5000
Campus Life
The institute organised various students/dorm parties, cultural activities, workshops. Various debates, seminars, tournaments, indoor games competition, quiz challenges were held regularly to promote the skills of the students.
Admission
I took the prospectus along with the application form from the office. I applied through offline mode. The college form had to be filled with all the details of academic record, personal information and category details and had to be submitted with self attested documents. The admission is given on merit basis.
Faculty
The faculty Presented the lectures in ways which are interesting and involving and Related theory, principles, and concepts to practical application. They used to give feedback regularly and in manner which helps students to learn.
