Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is subjected to on-going validation by the university of Huddersfield. It is a four year course which offers two specialisations namely culinary arts and the other in hotel management.
Placement Experience
The placement record of the college is commendable. Around 95% of the students gets placed and few of them also goes for higher studies. I chose to sit for placements and got place in The leela hotels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As the course is a bit on the millennial side, so the fee structure is quite expensive. It costs around ?12,40,000 for the four year course. It can be paid in the four equal instalments of ?3,10,000.
Campus Life
The college organises events like food festival and also cultural events like dance, singing, theatre etc. It also encourages the students to take part in sports activities like basketball, cricket etc.
Alumni/Alumna
As an alumni I have to tell that the college teaches about the hotel industry at the grass roots level. It lays down the strong foundation for the operations of the hospitality industry. And to talk about the seniors, they were friendly and outgoing.
Admission
The college releases the application form on the official website of the college. I had gone through group discussion which was the first part of the admission process. Later, interview was conducted to test the candidates.
Faculty
I have been drawn towards the faculty members as they were so polite. Most of them have pursued PhD in their respective subjects. They take the feedbacks genuinely and tries to rectify the shortcomings.
