Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of this vocational course of Interior Design is pretty detailed and covers all the major aspects of designing. It also has a pretty rigid structure of examination too and focuses also on the practicality of the course.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies like Wipro, HCL, Accenture, American Express usually visit the campus and hire students for various job positions and also a lucrative package is offered to them. I am beyond satisfied with their placement opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It costs ?81,000 for the complete three year, full time, on-campus Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc) (Interior Design) course. The affordable and feasible fee structure was one of the reasons for me to select this college.

Campus Life

To foster a feeling of oneness and belongingness amongst the students, the college undertakes to organise various cultural evenings, seminars, visits, fests etcetera. Students actively take part in these activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis of the college are too good to be true as they are very successful in their lives but still connected to the college. It is inspiring to see them achieving so much in such a short span of time it is indeed commendable.

Admission

I am studying at Meera Bai Institute of Technology, New Delhi as it offers the esteemed vocational course- Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc) (Interior Design). The admission process was quick and simple.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers of the college are too good to be true as they take personal interest in the growth of every student which is pretty rare. They are smart, kind and helpful. They are reservoirs of knowledge and one can learn so much from them.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
