the selection of HPNLU ,shimla was informed choice given that it was leading NLU and also beacause of its distinct academic atmosphere . comaparision and choice of colleges . as i was applying to the leading NLU`s such as NLSIU, NALSAR and private such as symbiosis law school . although i got admission NLU prayagraj and lower ranked NLU`S . I selected HPNLU due to the tough programe that is being offered and the prestige of NLU label , which is more recognised in legal school communities than most of the private law schools . ADMISSION PROCESS HPNLU is offered an admission process that is simplified by CLAT * eligibility- the candidates should have 10+12 with minimum 45 % (40% in case of SC/ST) *Entrance exam - CLAT is the only acceptable exam. *cutoff- gen category the closing position is generally in the 1500-2200 range ,thus it is stiff. * experience :- the centralized counseling (CAP) of CLAT consortium made the entire part of the process to be vivid , hassle free....Read More

The reason why I choose himachal pradesh national law University is because it is an nlu as I have left punjab university for this college and the other thing is that himachal pradesh national law University is also growing at a large pace under the guidance of our respected vice chancellor ma'am Priti saxena My clat rank was not that great as it was 6k and the other options i have were nlu aurangabad and punjab university whose paper I have cleared and the reason why I choose this university is because of my degree in law professional college also play an important role in your career and nlu take for a law student will give him or her a edge over other students and will also help in the overall development of the particular individual For getting admission in this college you have to get an clat and clear it so that you can secure a seat...Read More

I was selected in Amity University Jaipur but because of my personal preference for a government college i dropped the plan to be at amity and joined HPNLU instead. The admission process of HPNLU is via CLAT exam, where you must get rank below 3,500 however it has several vacancies and reservations....Read More
