Remarks

All I can say is I got the best experience in this college! We literally enjoyed our days. Due to Covid 19 we weren't able to continue with campus life. Overall I can recommend my college as one of the best for my domain .

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a full time course for 2 long years which has 4 semesters to clear. We have like around 15+electives to choose upon the whole two years collectively. Project is the main highlight of this program. Exams are run like for 3 hours each paper with strict discipline to be followed. Fun learning is where this course is all about.

Placement Experience

It is a known fact to all that geotechnology is a rare course and a niche area. One can expect decent internships through the institute and the worthy ones get into the the companies. But if a person has right kind of skills and knowledge I think they can get through in this field with or without placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this course is quiet feasible like approx. 2 lakhs and your degree is done! These fees inclide many things like library, gymkhana,labs and experiment fees etc. None of this money goes into waste I assure that.

Campus Life

we have lot of fun in the campus! I am a member of drama academy! We conduct lot of plays and other clubs like arts, science,sports also available in the campus. People usually are geeks with unusual passion and hobbies around.

Admission

Geo technology! the study of earth combined with technology! It was unintentional to join this course. As a nature lover and a good engineer I decided to pick up this course at IIT. Now I am in love with my choice and quiet proud of the selection I have made. This course offers a full time masters in Geo-technology. Admissions is as usual through GATE Entrance Exam. Based upon ranking , their academics and the interview can easily get in and be one among us.

Our faculty are quiet cool! They introduce us to new experiments every day. Most important aspect they are most experienced people. Plus point is no matter what they guide us, they involve us into paper presentations, live projects etc. If you are a Geo geek! you would love this experience for sure.

Nothing tell about bad things only good thing are there.

College and faculties promote and provide chances for Industrial visit in industries all over India. The faculties of our college are well experienced and with better qualifications. Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
