Remarks

This is a good college for cse department. Placement is good. Admission is based on WBJEE or JEE MAIN. College has a big campus with more than 4 grounds . The library is very big. The college is under MAKAUT University also known as WBUT. College faculty is very good. They are very helpful. The labs are one of the best in west bengal. the college is under nba(National Board of accreditation).

Placements are good for cse and it. If you are a good student,then no one can stop you to get placed in mnc. Company like tcs,cts, Infosys,tech Mahindra comes every year. Highest ctc offered in this year in 12 lpa. avg ctc is 3.6 lpa

The average fees is 350000/- for 4 years. Scholarships are Available like tfw,wbfs and many more.

Campus Life

There are annual fest, cultural fest, annual sports . coding competition and many more. Classrooms are very big.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
