Course Curriculum Overview
I chose bachelor of English literature since i love this subject from my childhood and have profound interest in English. There sufficient teachers available to guide us every aspect they are very friendly and helpful. weekly assessments are conducted to get deep knowledge on the subject which is very helpful to attend the final semester exams
Internships Opportunities
Internships are off the campus. I have completed my internship in a local TV channel which offered me a salary of 6000. final year project is compulsory for everyone it changes according to our major. In literature we have to present a paper on a book.
Placement Experience
Final year students are eligible for campus placements. So many best known companies like cts ,ifosys, amazon and many other companies select students from our college. around 80% of the students are getting placed every year. My future plan is to do masters in literature in psgrkcw as I love this campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees are collected as the governments norms. It is one of the few colleges which abide the rules and regulations of the government strictly.
Campus Life
PSGRKCW campus is an eco-friendly campus very clean and tidy. I love the college there are so many inter cultural competitions especially Karishma is the best one apart from this so intra college competitions are also conducted. Equal importance is given to studies and extra curricular activities. There are many clubs including e-cell, YRC, Eco watch, Ncc and what not.
Hostel Facilities
There is no ragging in and out of the hostel. Ragging is strictly prohibited in psgrkcw instead seniors are very friendly who are our next mentors beside our tutors. Hostel rooms are very spacious and cleaned regularly. Food are awesome which is like our own home. Medical facilities are available for 24*7.MJonthly the rent of the room is 3000.
Interview Experience
Admissions was based on the mark obtained in higher secondary. There are few questions asked to check the knowledge in the subject that we have opted for.
