Remarks

The college is great. It provides hostel facility and the faculty is also good. The environment is also good and student friendly. It is among the best universities in the locality.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good and student oriented. It is structured such that it increases the scientific temperament of the student. Practicals re also included in the syllabus and the attention is paid to research as well.

Placement Experience

The college provides good placement and job opportunities. Almost 80% students get placed in different places. The college also holds on-campus drives and webinars as well.

College Events

The college celebrates many national and regional festivals. We have many cultural events as well and everyone participates will full enthusiasm.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is nice and feasible. It varies for different courses. For M.Sc the course fee is around 7.9k for the whole course. For first year it is 3946INR and the same for second year as well.

Campus Life

The college offers extra curricular activities in addition to the normal academic ones. Sports and cultural events are organized. Educational tours are conducted. The college is pure from any sort of discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides hostel facility. The hostel is nice. It has nice and tasty food to offer. The rooms are also nice and clean. Water facility is available all the time. The hostel environment is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

the seniors are helpful and friendly. They share their notes and advice with us. The alumni meets are also held and they share their experience and they help a lot.

Admission

The admission to the college is completely online. Students can download the form and pay the fee online. The admission is purely merit based for all courses. For LLB they have to appear for entrance exam. The eligibility for Pg courses is the student should be graduate with min of 50% and then based on the merit list generated by the college the students get the admission.

Faculty

The faculty is very helpful and friendly. They treat us with respect and listen to our queries. They are very well educated and have a strong hold over their subjects.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

I choose this course because I want to become a professor of chemistry. The qualification of faculty is very good. All the faculties of our colleges have a minimum of 10+ years of teaching experience. All the exams were held timely. It is easy to pass.

Remarks:

The state open university follows the rule and regulations of UGC, so the fee structure is transparent and very much nominal which is also much lower than any other college in the state. The payment mode like bank draft, online payment etc. is easily accepted by the college. Cash payments is not acceptable.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Fact about my college

I completed 12th grade in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. After 12th grade, I decided to pursue the same course at Patliputra University, which was considered one of the best universities in Bihar at that time. All the colleges affiliated with this university were reputed, and they had regular classes along with lab facilities. However, due to COVID and lockdowns, I couldn’t go there.
