Course Curriculum Overview
Our course catered to a lot of different disciplines like chemistry, management, biotechnology, etc. It helped me gain insight and an enhanced perspective towards the agricultural industry, specifically the sugarcane business.
Placement Experience
The college does provide the students with placements & job opportunities. Some of the companies for placement are UNITED BREWERIES LIMITED DIAGEO PERNOD RICARD INDIA LTD. PRAJ INDUSTRIES All these recruiters provided a decent salary package for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for my masters program in Sugarcane technology was around 30k for the first year. The fee is very much affordable for the students. On top of that we got top notch learning experience from the college
Campus Life
The college offers many extracurricular activities like football, basketball, band group and many more. Department has been conducting University Campus sports activities, Inter Collegiate tournaments and Inter University Sports competitions every year. Fest or events are mostly held on the occasion of Holi and Diwali. Campus crowd is average and mostly from villages nearby.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network here in this university is very much active as compared to other universities and colleges. Senior students are helpful in many needs by the first year students and their juniors. So this alumni network is very much helpful.
Admission
Admissions are on the basis of the admission test followed by an interview. The admission process is pretty smooth. I gave the entrance test and was called for the interview round. Selection to all the courses is offered on the basis of merit. The basic eligibility criterion for BA and B.com is passing 10+2 from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject. The minimum eligibility of M.Sc. program is a candidate must have passed B.Sc. in relevant specialization
Faculty
Faculty is very good. Fully qualified Ph.D. teachers having great teaching skills. Excellent teaching quality. Syllabus covered under curriculum is relevant. Teachers provide education for exams purpose the education provided is not suitable for industry. The university maintains a well ordered faculty system .The faculty is very supportive and appreciative of our learning efforts. The faculties of the course are very knowledgeable in their subjects and try to help us learn and understand the course better.
